This module will provide student with a solid grounding and understanding of the methods used of and career options and pathways within clinical research. This module prepares students for future employment in healthcare research environments, such as the UK NHS, industry or global health research.
This module aims to develop an understanding of the key concepts and fundamentals of clinical trials in healthcare research. It aims to introduce students to the principles of rigorous scientific investigation, covering theoretical aspects relating to research design, specifically clinical trial methodology.
