Warwick Medical School are running a Master’s level module on “Global Health” in academic year 2017/2018 which will serve two purposes. Firstly it will be an optional module for our MPH students, secondly it will be an optional module on a new interdisciplinary MSc in humanitarian engineering http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/eng/research/grouplist/eerg/whec/ . In order to bring the inter-disciplinary students up to speed with basic public health principles, we plan to offer pre-course material for the module which will be in the form of online interactive material. If you take this learning set you will be involved in creating content for the online pre-course material. We envisage this being around the wider determinants of disease and the global burden of disease.
This will contribute (as a minimum) towards competency 8.9. You will also be free to re-use the content you develop for other purposes.
